In one of the most impressive launch-days the AJ1 has ever seen, the Air Jordan 1 KO Rivalry Pack releases tomorrow, March 15, the same day as the equally-coveted AJ1 KO Chicago. Three must-have AJKO’s all in the same day; this must be the best day ever for canvas investors everywhere.
Like the “Chicago,” the Rivalry Pack is an homage to the early days of Michael Jordan’s career, specifically his rivalry with Patrick Ewing that started during the duo’s college days and continued throughout their NBA careers. The pack consists of two pairs, each sporting the colors of Ewing’s or Jordan’s alma maters, respectively: the navy and grey of Georgetown, and the white and blue of UNC.
Those palettes are splashed onto the AJKO’s familiar canvas uppers, of course, and the shoes even feature “NIKE” on each tongue, a true throwback to that original AJKO. (More recent releases have replaced Nike with the Jumpman logo.)
Grab the pack — it’s a true pack, meaning both pairs are packaged and sold together, not individually — tomorrow at Jordan accounts, including House of Hoops, but not likely extending to many (any?) e-tailers. Best of luck.
